Product Introduction: This clock kit creates a 24-hour digital circuit clock using chips such as CD4518, CD4511, CD4081, CD4013, CD4060.

This microcontroller-free kit requires no programming and gives the user flexibility to calibrate the hours, minutes and seconds.

The basic elements of the kit include a second signal generator, a counter, decoding display and timing circuit. A high frequency signal generator is used to obtain an accurately split 1Hz square wave signal. This signal is generated by the second signal generator created by the CD4060 and CD4013 chips.

The CD4518 chip provides a double decimal addition counter using three separate clocks of hours, minutes and seconds. The CD4511 illuminates the digital tube by converting the BCD code into a visually displayed display segment code.

The minute and second numbers are updated by the second signal introduced to the EN end of the CD4518, providing clear and accurate time measurement.
