Samsung's new mobile processor Exynos 1380 takes the mobile experience to the next level with its powerful performance, professional-level camera capabilities and artificial intelligence (AI) features.
Exynos 1380 combines four powerful Arm Cortex-A78 CPUs to meet performance requirements and four power-saving Cortex-A55 CPUs for fast loading and seamless multitasking. In this way, both high performance and long battery life are achieved. The microarchitecture design and power control are optimized to provide the best performance and efficiency. This eight-core CPU is managed by an advanced scheduler, allowing the Exynos 1380 to deliver 40% faster playback speed, 20% faster game loading, and 30% more powerful multi-core performance.
The Exynos 1380 is also equipped with Arm Mali-G68 GPU with five cores running at 950 MHz. This GPU delivers powerful graphics rendering performance for immersive 3D gaming experiences and has efficient power consumption to preserve battery life.
Exynos 1380, which is also assertive about artificial intelligence, has an NPU that supports up to 4.9 trillion operations per second. This delivers smart mobile experiences with advanced AI features, such as voice assistance and image recognition.
In terms of camera features, the Exynos 1380 is equipped with a flagship-level Triple Image Signal Processor (ISP). This ISP offers features like up to 200MP image sensor support, zero shutter lag, high dynamic range, and electronic image stabilization. Additionally, excellent photo quality is achieved thanks to artificial intelligence imaging technology.
Exynos 1380 comes with an integrated 5G modem and offers download speeds of up to 3.79 Gbps and upload speeds of up to 1.28 Gbps. In this way, it enables fast internet connections with 5G and allows users to use live broadcasts and streaming services without any problems.
